axes. Therefore, the sanding pad
adapts to the working surface con-
tours, facilitating every perfor-
mance in ceilings and tight spaces;
Perform overlapping sweeps and
keep the head in constant move-
ment. Keeping the sanding pad in
the same spot for a long time might
cause unwanted marks to the sur-
face;
Do not apply too much pressure
on the sander to avoid overloading.
In order to obtain quality and a good
work performance choose a proper
sandpaper (kind and grain) accord-
ing to the kind of work and the de-
sired result;
Use the sander without the tele-
scopic extension in small and nar-
row areas. Use the telescopic exten-
sion when operating in bigger areas,
taller walls or ceilings;
The
triangular
sanding
doesn't spin, it vibrates. It is meant
for corners performances;
When using the triangular sanding
pad on corners, it is recommended
to reduce the contact pressure. Oth-
erwise, it will occur an excessive
pressure on the pad edges.
Keep the safety devices, ventila-
tion openings and engine housing as
clean as possible. Blow the engine
with compressed air every 5 hours;
This sander isn't suitable for wet
surfaces.
4.2 - ROTATING SPEED REGULA-
TION (FIG. I)
1. Before starting any work with the
sander, set the rotation speed regu-
lator (25) in the minimum speed po-
sition (facing right) to test the fixing
of the sanding plate and ensure that
the sander is started without prob-
lems;
2. If everything is operational, turn
the speed controller according to
the surface and type of work you
want to perform;
3. The speed increases when you
turn the regulator counterclockwise
and decrease when you rotate
clockwise.
4.3 - SAND CORNERS WITH ROUND
SANDING PLATE (FIG. J)
The round sanding plate has a re-
movable accessory that makes it
easy to use the sander when you
want to sand the edges.
1. Press the fastening tab (26) and
remove the removable accessory
(27) from the velcro pad protection.
4.4 - ADJUSTING THE SUCTION
POWER (FIG. K)
The suction power adjustment is
performed on the suction power
regulator (28);
1. Turn the regulator clockwise to
plate
reduce and anticlockwise to in-
crease suction power.
4.5 - LED LIGHT (FIG. L)
The sander has a led light (9) that al-
lows it to be used in dark and night
environments.
1. Press the "ON/OFF" switch on the
led (29) to turn on the led and obtain
illumination in the working zone.
5. MAINTENANCE AND
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Before performing any clean-
ing, adjusting, changing acces-
sories, repair or maintenance work,
turn off the power tool and unplug
the power cable.
All maintenance and repair work re-
quiring the opening of the motor
housing may only be carried out by
the service department.
In the event of excessive sparking,
call technical assistance.
5.1 - CARBON BRUSHES REPLACE-
MENT (FIG.M)
The motor will not turn on when the
brushes are worn out. Brushes
should be replaced in a timely man-
ner, otherwise imperfect contact
will occur between the brushes and
the commutator, resulting in sparks
and damage to the mixer. The two
brushes must be replaced at the
same time by two brushes with the
same characteristics.
1. Unscrew the brush covers (30);
2. Remove worn brushes and re-
place them by new ones;
3. Insert and tighten the covers;
5.2 - ROUND SANDING PLATE
BRUSH (FIG. N)
On the sanding plate's perimeter
there is a brush that avoids the pro-
jection of particles and reduces the
dust formation. If the brush (31) is
already worn it must be replaced.
1. Remove the sandpaper from the
velcro pad (13);
2. Release the brush fixing screws;
3. Remove the brush and replace it
by a new one;
4. Tighten the brush fixing screws.
5.3 - SANDING PLATE AND ENGINE
HEAD ROTATING SHAFTS LUBRICA-
TION (FIG. O)
Check regularly the lubrication of
the sanding plate rotation shaft
(32) of the gearbox and sanding
plates;
1. Remove the sanding plate and if
necessary, lubricate the rotation
shafts;
