TROUBLESHOOTING

Symptom
Pressure too low
Suction too low at the Swiss LithoPump
The Swiss LithoPump jolts in operation
Suction level cannot be reached
Suction too low with a ultrasound probe
Suction too low at the pneumatic probe
The Swiss LithoPump is noisy

Solution
Check system air supply.
Check the compressor if applicable.
Check that air arrives at the suction outlet (large connector).
Check that air suppply pressure is more than 5 bar.
Check the mounting orientation of the internal filter.
Check that the filter is not obstructed or moist, replace the filter.
Adjust the suction level.
The air exhaust is obstructed.
Stop the Swiss LithoPump to allow pressure to reach its maximum output (if applicable).
Possible overheat of the compressor when a compressor is used.
Use a ultrasound probe with a larger diameter to improve suction.
Check the suction at the hose connected to the handpiece.
Check the suction at the hose connected to the handpiece.
If the suction is OK, verify the blue colored seals between the handpiece and the LithoVac.
Verify the circular seal on the LithoVac probe.
Verify of the suction line up to the Swiss LithoPump.
Replace the silencer.
