Draw end of cable set with blue/green and grey/blue cables to left rear parking light.
a)
Disconnect 8-input housing of vehicle set from left rear parking light and then attach it to an appropriate
connection of cable set,
b)
Connect empty housing of cable set with left rear parking light.
7.
Draw free end of cable set with plug connections along vehicle set to right rear parking lights.
a)
Disconnect 8-input housing of vehicle set from right rear parking light and then attach it to an appropriate
connection of cable set,
b)
Connect empty housing of cable set with right rear parking light.
c)
Connect brown cables to an appropriate earth point (if necessary, fasten to earth point inside vehicle or use
metal-sheet screw).
8.
Assembly of trailer module
a)
Vehicles without PDC:
Fasten trailer module using M6 screw above battery, on the right side of boot.
Connect 15-input plug housing with module.
b)
Vehicles with PDC
Unbolt screws fasting PDC steering unit with supporting metal sheet, located on the right side of boot.
Fasten trailer module to rear side of supporting metal sheet with self-adhesive tape. Connect 15-input plug
housing with module and then screw supporting metal sheet again to steering unit.

Draw red cable to fuse box. Attach red connecting cable to clip 30 in fuse box and then connect both ends of cables
with fuse base. Note that direct current of 12 V flows in the cables.
10.
Data bus connection (green/white cable)
a)
Data bus is preassembled in vehicles produced by September 1997; disconnect and insulate the cable
b)
Data bus needs to be connected in vehicles produced since September 1997. To do that, remove casing
below locker in switchboard, right header casing and A column casing at passenger footrest. Draw
green/white cable along cable set inside vehicle at passenger footrest. Light module is located on A
column. Remove the middle plug (54) and disassemble blockade. Plug the white/green lead into the free
chamber no. 35. Reassemble plug (54) and then reconnect it with light module.
Trailer indicator defect is signalled by a control light of the vehicle by increased flashing frequency!!
Fix all the leads with supplied band clips, assemble previously disassembled parts.
Connect accumulator and check all vehicle functions with connected trailer or other suitable testing device.
