The date indication is synchronized with the pusher and changes
automatically if a time zone adjustment is made over midnight.
Remark: Never activate both pushers together.
DATE SETTING (PATENTED QUICK SETTING MECHANISM)
Quick correction of the date can be effected forward and backward.
Place the hand indicator on ''Date'' using the pusher
located on the crown and turn forward or backward the
crown until the required date appears in the windows.
Important note: To avoid damaging the gearing mecha-
nism of the movement, please refrain from correcting in
crown position ''Date'' (quick correction of date) between
9:00 pm and 3:00 am. We suggest adjusting the hour
hand to 6 o'clock before activating the quick setting device.
PRECISION
Precision
and
average
daily
rate
depend
on
the
activity of the person wearing the instrument. Violent shocks
or knocks – quite common in tennis or golf – should be
avoided to prevent shaking that may loosen certain parts.
Because a mechanical watch is a fine piece of miniature
engineering consisting of well over 100 individual parts,
its precision will never match that of a quartz timepiece.
