6.0 - PREPARING AND FLUSHING AIR
CONDITIONING SYSTEMS
In order to flush an air conditioning system, you will first have to determine the type of
system worked on.
WARNING:
Make sure that all relevant safety regulations are observed.
When working with refrigerants always wear protective goggles and
safety gloves.

Position the vehicle in the service area.

Turn off the engine.

Open the hood, disconnect the battery.

Clean the area around the service valves.

Remove the safety caps from the service valves.
