1. Connect a battery charger to the vehicle.
2. With the wiTECH diagnostic application, perform the following steps:
Select the "DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES" tab
Select RESET ECU, then click NEXT and select RFH on list then click RESET
Wait for confirmation that the ECU has reset. This will take several seconds
Select "CLOSE"
3. Close and restart WiTech tool program and WiTech server application.
4. Clear all stored DTCs.
1. Sit in the driver seat and close the door.
2. Lower the window part of the way down.
3. Run the window to the full up position and continue to hold the switch for an additional two seconds.
4. Run the window to the full down position and continue to hold the switch for an additional two seconds.
5. Raise the window to the full up position.
6. Repeat the steps for the remaining windows.
1. Connect a battery charger to the vehicle.
2. With the wiTECH diagnostic application, perform the following steps:
Select "BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM)"
Select the "MISC FUNCTIONS" tab
Highlight and select "REMOTE START TEMPORARY DISABLE"
Note OnScreen instructions and select the "NEXT" button
Select the "CONTINUE" button to activate the remote start function
Select "SAVE" the remote start setting, then hit CONTINUE
Wait for confirmation that the setting has been saved and BCM has been reset
Select "CLOSE"
To activate the remote start the vehicle must be driven at least 35 MPH.
With the vehicle off, and the doors closed and locked, verify the remote start is functioning properly.
