2 = Fertilizing process is carried out twice at a
1 minute interval.
SET > Fertilizing time 1 is stored.
MODE > The next fertilizing time is displayed.
This can be programmed as above through SET, or by re-
peatedly pressing the MODE button, it skips through the
other available fertilizing times back to the current time.
D Manual operation
For fertilizing outside programmed times, press the » manual « button
, which allows the rotating of the container to be triggered manually.
E Filling the container
E 1 Remove the container lengthways and remove the plug.
E 2 Attention: Only pour in fertilizer up to the lower edge of the
filler opening in the container. If the container is overfilled,
you may impair the fertilizer dosing function.
Insert the plug back in and press it firmly to make sure that the open-
ing is correctly sealed.
E 3 Place the container back on to the device. In operating condition,
the dispensing vertical drum unit fills itself to appr. 1 cm. Carry
out a manual dose by pressing button
functionality. The amount of fertilizer added every day is con-
trolled through the number of rotations. If the fertilizer supply
goes down to the » min « mark, the container has to be refilled.
F Positioning
Place the automatic fertilizer on the aquarium hood so that the con-
centrate can fall freely onto the surface of the water.
G Care and maintenance
If the container gets coated with residual deposits, wash the container
out with water. Do not use any cleaning substances.
If the batteries are not being used for a long time re-
move them! EHEIM does not provide any warranty for
damages which are caused by leaky batteries or storage
batteries.
Do not throw exhausted batteries in the household re-
fuse. Hand over the old batteries to your dealer or
public collecting points when buying new ones.
