T-Connector Wiring Kit
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. Open the vehicle trunk and
temporarly remove the tail light
housings. Each tail light housing is
held in place with three wing nuts.
The will be connectors on each
housing similar to those on the T-
Connector harness.
3. Beginning under the vehicle, route the T-Connector
harness ends with the yellow wires up through the opening
between the bumper and vehicle body (fig. 1).
Note: On some vehicles it may be helpful to snake the
harness up from the top using a stiff pull-wire.
4. Separate the vehicle tail light connector ends by carefully
pressing on the locking tab and pulling the connectors apart,
taking care not to damage the locking tabs. Examine the connectors
and clean away any dirt or debris if necessary.
5. Position the T-Connector harness ends between the separated
vehicle tail light connectors. Press the T-Connector ends into the
tail light connectors until they lock into place. Take care not to
damage the locking tabs.
6. Locate a clean accessible mounting location on the vehicle
frame or a cross member near the T-Connector ends within reach
of the white wire and grounding eyelet. Remove any debris or
undercoating to expose a clean metal surface and drill a 3/32"
hole.
