Models without variable luggage compartment floor only:
– Screw the fastening ring -9- with the star head bolt (M8) -8-
tightly on the left support strut -7-.
Note
The installation of the fastening ring -9- on the right support strut
-2- is performed in the same manner.
Continuation for all vehicles
– Move the partition grille -1- into installation position.
– Insert the left support strut -7- into the lashing eye -arrow A-.
– Swing the support strut forwards -arrow B-.
Note
The right support strut -2- is installed in the same manner.
– Attach the support strut -7- to the partition grille -1- using the
two M8x10 star head bolts -4- and washers -6-.
Note
♦ Only lightly tighten the two M8x10 star head bolts -4-. The star
head bolts must be able to move within the elongated holes in
the support strut -7-.
♦ The right support strut -2- is installed in the same manner.
– Push the partition grille -1- forwards -arrow A- and simultane‐
ously push the support strut -7- to the rear -arrow B-, until the
partition grille -1- lies against the pillar trim and the support
strut -7- lies against the side panel trim, without play.
