• Never connect or use an appliance that has a damaged lead
or plug. If the power supply cable becomes damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales
service or a qualified individual in order to avoid any
danger.
• In the event of breakdown, inspection and repairs must be
performed by an approved technician.
• Any maintenance operation must be performed by an
approved technician.
• If a fixed appliance has a power cable without a plug, a
disconnection mechanism must be included in the wiring
system that conforms to the installation regulations.
• The appliance is not intended to be operated using an
external timer or separate remote control system.
• When using an extension lead, it must be fully unwound to
prevent the cable from overheating.
• Always connect and disconnect the power lead once the
appliance is set to the minimum temperature and also after
you have finished using it.
• To prevent electric shock, do not immerse the lead, plug or
body of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not
handle these parts with wet hands.
• Do not leave the lead hanging from a table or counter.
• Do not place the appliance and its lead on or near a surface
which is likely to become hot (electric plate, gas burner,
oven, etc.).
• Disconnect the plug when the appliance is not in use or
before cleaning it.
• Do not clean the appliance with a high- or low-pressure
water spray.
