Maintenance Check List
Inspection and service of cubicles with a withdrawable design
For the withdrawable design the following maintenance work must be performed in addition to general maintenance of low-voltage switchboards.
For the installed equipment, the manufacturer's operating instructions take precedence and must be complied with.

For the visual inspection the withdrawable unit must be taken out of the cubicle.
4.1 Withdrawable unit Damage, deformation of the contacts

Condition of the plastic parts in the area of the contacts
Condition of the grease
Signs of flashovers or creepage tracks
Contact erosion
Signs of loading with sulfurous gases (severe discoloration, formation of pollution layer)
4.2 Withdrawable units Smooth moving of the contacts in all withdrawable unit positions
mechanism Opening and closing of the circuit breaker with door-coupling rotary mechanism

Warning! The vertical busbar and outgoing busbar in the withdrawable unit may be energized..
5.1 Shutters and cover of the Mechanical function of the shutter
vertical busbar (if Covers are completely available
installed) Contact protection is guaranteed for removed withdrawable unit.
5.2 Soiling, foreign bodies Dust deposit and pollution
Foreign material within the withdrawable units
6 Servicing withdrawable
units
For the maintenance the withdrawable unit must be taken out of the cubicle.
6.1 Clean withdrawable unit See operating instructions for each supplied type: 8PQ9800-3AA48, 8PQ9800-7AA80 or

6.2 Grease withdrawable unit See operating instructions for each supplied type: 8PQ9800-3AA48, 8PQ9800-7AA80 or
contacts 8PQ9800- 6AA81
7 Servicing withdrawable

Warning! Switch off and lock out all power supplying the affected part of the low-voltage switchboard before commencing
servicing work
