3. Coding, function test
Reconnect the earth wire to the battery.
After fitting the electric retrofit kit, an online coding or a documentation update must be
• Start the ODIS diagnostics tester
• Start the "Diagnostics" function
• Select "Special functions"
• Select the sub-section "Adapt SW"
• Confirm with "Perform test"
• Select "Perform upgrading and retrofitting solutions" via button 3
• Enter and confirm SVM code
• Follow the instructions of the diagnosis tester
Note: the SVM code can only be used once per vehicle
Check all the functioning of all rear lights.
Read out the fault memory and delete error codes where necessary.
