TROUBLES AND REMEDIES
Disconnect nailer from hose before servicing. When connecting the tool, it must contain no fasteners.
TROUBLE
Air leaking from exhaust
port.
Blow does not take place.
Idle impact or pins are not
fully driven in.
During repair replacement of parts the special grease (code no. 68 3868) must be applied to the surface of
the cylinder and the counter surfaces of the O-rings.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
O-rings (e, f) damaged or dirty.
Face of the cylinder is damaged.
Driver is jammed by a fastener.
Release valve damaged.
Tool exhausts considerably in the
lowest position of the piston, O-ring
(t, u), bumper (v), worn or damaged.
No backstroke.
Tool without sufficient lubrication.
Trigger pressed too slowly.
Air pressure too low.
Connection hose too long. Diameter
reduced in the air line or in the
maintenance unit (fall of pressure).
Piston completely (r) damaged.
Tip of driver worn.
REMEDY
Clean or replace parts.
Polish face of the cylinder or replace
and grease again.
Pull the magazine rail to the rear.
Remove the front cover (n) and push
the driver back. Then remove the
jammed brad nail or pin.
Have tool checked at service station.
Replace damaged parts.
Clean the interior pieces, grease the
counter surfaces of the O-rings and
the surface of the cylinder. Check the
lubricator.
Press more quickly.
Adjust to correct air pressure (min. 4
bar / 0,4 MPa).
Investigate and correct trouble.
Replace piston. At the same time
check bumper (v) for wear.
Re-grind the face of the driver tip
such that it is square to its axis.
