1. INTRODUCTION

Dear Customer, first and foremost we would like to thank you for
having chosen our machine. It was designed in line with our extensive
range of experience and manufactured using quality materials and a certi-
fied process, in order to guarantee your satisfactory and long lasting utili-
sation.
Attention
Before starting the machine, we strongly urge you to
carefully read this manual, which forms an integral part
of the machine, and contains important information re-
garding its safe use and maintenance. Reading the man-
ual will help you avoid any danger to yourself or other
persons, as well as any damage to the machine. In addi-
tion, you should keep this manual in a safe place and
hand it over with the machine to any subsequent users.
Should this booklet be lost or damaged, please ask for
another from your retailer, indicating the machine's seri-
al number.

2. USE

THERMAL is a special machine designed to heat medium-small
size swimming pool water.
Any other use must be considered improper. The manufacturer is
absolutely not responsible for any damage caused to persons or things
due to improper use of the machine or failure to respect the safety pre-
scriptions and those relative to maintenance.
3. PACKAGING REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL
If the packaging exhibits any signs of damage or tampering, imme-
diately contact your retailer.
To remove the packaging used for shipment you must:
• remove the plastic netting fastening the product to the wooden
base;
• remove the parts in cardboard and nylon from around the machine;
• remove accessories;
• remove the metal straps and the wooden staves which impede
any movement of the machine's wheels;
• slowly push the machine, so that it comes off its base.
Attention
Never attempt to manually lift the machine; the exces-
sive weight could cause serious physical injury.
Packaging materials must not be left where children
and/or youngsters can reach them since they constitute
a health risk.
For packaging disposal, all relevant national environ-
mental regulations must be respected.
4. CONTENTS OF THE PACKAGING: STANDARD
EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES
The packaging contains: machine body, water filter, feed pipe and
delivery pipe with pipe junctions and clamps. After unpacking the ma-
chine and its accessories, make sure they have not been damaged and,
should you have any doubts, immediately contact your retailer. Also
check that the rating plate is present, indicating the machine's main
construction and technical data.
Should the same be missing, immediately inform your retailer. The
manufacturer provides a machine which, due to transport and packag-
ing compactness, is provided with a water filter and pipes that need to
be connected. Assembly must be carried out following the specific in-
structions set out in paragraph "6".
5. SAFETY INDICATIONS AND GENERAL WARN-
INGS
Before starting up the machine, carefully read the instructions con-
tained in the present manual and scrupulously adhere to them.
We recommend:
• have the machine used only by expert personnel and preventing
any use by children or youngsters;
• do not use the machine when there are people in the swimming
pool;
• do not touch the plug with wet hands;
• connect the machine to an electrics panel with electricity supply
specifications in compliance with those declared on the rating
plate;
• connect the electrics cable to an electrics panel provided with a
magneto-thermal switch with differential (sensitivity 30 mA);
• connect the machine to an electricity supply line provided with
earthing;
• avoid stretching the electrics cable and protect it against acciden-
tal crushing;
• do not use cables with low quality repairs;
• any extension electrics cables must comply with appropriate
standards and have a section at least equal to that of the ma-
chine's feed cable;
• prior to carrying out any cleaning and/or maintenance operation,
disconnect the machine from the electricity and water mains;
• do not pull the cable to disconnect the plug, and do not pull the
pipes or cable to move the machine;
• always ensure that all the flexible connection pipes have been
well screwed, while avoiding any excessive tightening that might
cause damage to the pump;
• use only original spare parts approved by the manufacture which
offer a guarantee of safe machine functioning;
• check the machine prior to start-up;
• prevent children and/or animals from getting too close;
• do not direct the delivery pipe outlet end towards the machine or
any other part which is live;
• check the delivery pipe is not blocked: functioning in such condi-
tions causes dangerous increases in pump pressure and temper-
ature;
• avoid any dry functioning: the same causes irreversible damage
to the pump;
• never aim the delivery pipe outlet end at yourselves or other per-
sons or animals;
• do not use the machine where it is exposed to rain;
• do not use the machine with environmental temperatures greater
than 40°C;
• do not rest any object on the machine when it is operational;
• do not block the fan air aspiration hole on the side of the ma-
chine, or the other openings in the bodywork for the ventilation
of parts inside the machine;
• do not block the exit of flue fumes;
Attention
The flue has a very high temperature: danger of burning!
• position the machine on a flat surface, prevent any undesirable
movements of the machine by applying the brake on one of the
pivoting wheels and make sure there is no risk of the machine
falling into the swimming pool;
• do not supply the machine with salt water or potentially danger-
ous liquids (explosive, toxic or inflammable);
• do not leave the machine exposed to very low temperatures
where there is a danger of freezing;
• at the end of each period of use, turn off the machine using the
switch.
Attention
Repairs must be carried out by specialised personnel. Al-
ways contact one of our technical assistance centres.
Failure to respect what is set out above absolves the
manufacturer of any liability and constitutes negligent
use of the product.
