propriate connections; the input pipe is fixed to the pipe-holder Ø30 lo-
cated on the pump and to the pipe-holder Ø30 located on the water fil-
ter, while the delivery pipe is fastened to the pipe-holder junction Ø30
exiting from the machine; in both cases, tighten the pipe clamps pro-
vided with the piping (see Fig. 1).
When first starting up the machine, or after a long period of inactivity,
to permit rapid water pump activity connect the machine to the normal
water mains using a rubber pipe (not provided with the machine), hav-
ing an internal diameter equal to 17 mm, to be connected to the faucet
located on the side of the machine (see Fig. 1). When inserting the
pipe, check that faucet A (Fig. 1) is closed.

Finally, since the machine is provided with a tank lacking any diesel fu-
el, it is necessary to fill up the same using autotraction diesel before
starting up the machine (maximum capacity: 100 litres). Subsequently,
only diesel for autotraction must be used.
POSITIONING OF PIPES IN THE SWIMMING POOL
The feed pipe must be placed in the swimming pool at a depth that
guarantees continuous supply, with water lacking any solid bodies in
suspension.
The delivery pipe must be firmly fastened to the edge of the swimming
pool and as a matter of preference arranged, with respect to the feed
pipe, at the opposite end of the pool, thereby guarantee optimum recir-
culation of water.
Both pipes must not exhibit any kinks or blockages: it is therefore im-
portant not to let them get tangled, or create loops or lie against bodies
with sharp protrusions (walls, columns etc.).
The temperature of the water entering the pump must not exceed
35°C; higher temperatures can damage the pump seals.
CONNECTION TO THE ELECTRICITY MAINS
It is necessary to connect the machine to an electrics system com-
plying with current legal standards.
The machine's electricity specifications are listed in the technical
data table and on the rating plate, which must coincide with those of
the electricity mains.
Before inserting the electricity plug in the socket, ensure that all
the switches are in position "0".
All warnings as set out in paragraph "5" remain valid, and non ob-
servance of the same nullifies the guarantee and absolves the manufac-
turer of any liability.
The hot water boilers for THERMAL swimming pools are arranged
for connection to electricity lines that are monophase in type 50 Hz,
230 V.

7. MACHINE USE

START-UP
After carrying out the operations as set out in paragraph "6", to
start up the machine proceed as follows:
• First start-up of the water pump (the said procedure must also be
carried out where start-up occurs after a long period of pump in-
activity):
• open the water mains faucet;
• open faucet A (Fig. 1);
• press general switch key 1 (Fig. 2) to provide electricity for the
command panel (telltale 4 comes on);
• start up the water pump by pressing key 2 (Fig. 2).
When the water comes out continuously and regularly at the end of
the delivery pipe, the pump can be considered full and therefore able to

prime itself in subsequent machine actionings. You can now close the
faucets for the water mains and machine and uncouple the rubber pipe
Øi 17.
• Normal start-up of the water pump:
• press general switch key 1 (Fig. 2) to provide electricity for the
command panel (telltale 4 comes on);
• start up the water pump by pressing key 2 (Fig. 2) (telltale 5
comes on);
• check the regular and continuous exit of water from the end of
the delivery pipe.
• Burner ignition.
Only after starting up the water pump:
• rotate knob 8 (Fig. 2) of the thermostat as far as the desired
temperature and press switch 3 (Fig. 2) (telltale 6 comes on):
after a few seconds combustion starts.
On reaching the set temperature (thermostat 8 - Fig. 2), the burner
switches itself off while the pump continues to function. The burner
comes back on automatically as soon as the water temperature falls.
The burner, finally, is provided with a photocell to control the flame
which, should there by any functional anomaly, switches the burner off
while the burner block light 7 (Fig. 2) comes on. After verifying and
eliminating the cause of the block, it is necessary to switch off and re-
ignite the burner (switch 3 - Fig. 2) to start up combustion again.
INTERRUPTION
To interrupt water heating and hence switch off the burner it is neces-
sary to use switch 3 (Fig. 2): light 6 then goes off.
If you wish to interrupt the flow of water, after switching off the burner,
allow the water to cool for a few minutes and then press switch 2 (Fig.
2): light 5 (Fig. 2) then goes off. Finally, you can press general switch 1
(Fig. 2) to cut the power supply to the electrics panel: light 4 (Fig. 2) al-
so goes off.
STOP
To stop machine functioning it is necessary to repeat the operations
in paragraph "INTERRUPTION", disconnecting the plug from the current
socket, wind the cable and, after empting them, wind the pipes around
the machine handles, avoiding any contact with hot parts.
After releasing the brakes on the pivoting wheels, it is possible to
proceed with storage of the machine in an appropriate protected location.
HANDLING AND RECOVERY
Attention
Before moving the device it is necessary to:
• stop the machine in accordance with the indications
set out in paragraph "STOP";
• disconnect the electricity supply by removing the plug;
• with initial start-up or restart-up, after a long period of
inactivity, turn off the faucets and unscrew the water
inlet pipe Øi 17.
After winding the electricity cable and pipes on the appropriate de-
vices, unblock the position brakes located on the pivoting wheels and
push the machine using the handle, making it slide on the wheels.
Attention
Never attempt to lift the machine manually: its weight
could cause serious physical injury.
The machine must be stored in a protected location. Where it is
stored for a long period, or during the winter season, it is essential to
completely empty the hydraulic circuit, extracting the feed pipe from
the swimming pool and making it function for a few seconds with air
aspiration. Manually complete emptying of the pipes and pump (for the
latter, take out the discharge and refill caps).
In addition, protect the machine against dust. When restarting oper-
ational activity, check there are no cracks or cuts in the hydraulic pipes.
