4. Check the direction of rotation of the electric motor. The direction of rotation is indicated by a red arrow
on the fan housing. The motor's direction of rotation can be observed directly at the fan. Incorrect
direction of rotation may result in damage, in addition to which no pressure is built up and bubbles form
in the tank.
5. Lay the electric cables such that they cannot be accidentally pulled or tripped over. Only pull on the plug
in order to remove the plug from the electric outlet.
6. Always remove the plug from the electric outlet before cleaning.
7. If you do not use a pressure filter for your applications, we recommend purifying the mineral oil before
beginning work. To do this, connect each pump outlet P to port T using a hose line. The entire flow of
hydraulic oil is pumped through the return filter. The pumps should be operated in this way for at least
15 minutes.
8. When commissioning the complete equipment set for the first time, we recommend checking the
hydraulic oil fill-level frequently because all of the hose lines are initially empty.
9. If the diaphragm accumulator is used, replace the fitted drain hose with the included longer drain hose.
Cut the hose to the correct length.
10. There are two options for connecting the discharge measuring container's return hose. Replace the
plugs with the connecting sleeves and secure the return hose with a hose clamp.
10 Operation
•
In order to avoid the hydraulic oil warming unnecessarily, switch the hydraulic power pack off as soon
as it's no longer needed.
•
If warm hydraulic oil is required, allow the hydraulic power pack to run against the pressure relief valve
for a while. The tank temperature can be viewed at the fill-level sight glass for the hydraulic oil.
•
Check the hydraulic oil fill-level from time to time and top it up if necessary.
•
The motor is equipped with protection against short-circuit, overload and undervoltage. However, this
does not provide any protection against touching current conducting parts. The hydraulic power pack
may therefore only be operated in electrical systems which are equipped with residual current devices.
•
Shut down the hydraulic power pack immediately if leaks occur during operation. Immediately remove
discharged hydraulic oil. The leak must be eliminated before the hydraulic power pack is started back
up again. Observe the instructions in the safety data sheet in the event of contact with the hydraulic oil.
The safety data sheet can be requested from the hydraulic oil manufacturer (e.g. Divinol) in the
respective country.
