2. Unit description

2.1. Overview

The basic purpose of the InGECOn EMS Home is to be connected to a public grid to transfer energy from a battery
bank to the grid and vice versa.
The charge/discharge power of the batteries will be defined through an external device responsible for managing
the total energy of the system
Within its product catalogue, Ingeteam has the InGECOn EMS Manager to perform this task.

Should the public grid fail, the InGECOn EMS Home will be able to generate an isolated single or three-phase grid
to permanently guarantee energy in our system. In this isolated system, the InGECOn EMS Home will manage the
energy, prioritising renewable sources.
