Safety instructions
The driver's seat is not waterproof and must be protected from splashing water!
Driver's seats by Grammer AG may only be retrofitted or upgraded by authorized
specialist workshops, instructed personnel or appropriately trained individuals who
observe the applicable operating, maintenance and installation regulations as well as the
relevant country-specific rules.
Improper installation may result in risks of injury and damage to property and the
function of the driver's seat or the attached parts is no longer ensured.
The driver's seat is maintenance-free. Wear parts such as rollers, shock absorbers and
the fastening must be checked from time to time.
Before starting the journey, it must be checked whether safe operation of the vehicle is
guaranteed with all selected seat settings.
Seat tested and approved according to GRAMMER standard (GN 009, GN 010, GN 011,
depending on development date) from 48kg to 130kg.
Connecting specifications
If electrical connections to the on-board supply system are required, the following must be
observed:
Before connecting an electrical consumer in the driver's seat (e.g. seat heating or air
conditioning), the vehicle manufacturer, GRAMMER AG or their representatives must be
consulted for electrical data relating to the vehicle with regard to voltage, fuse protection
and type of connection.
For safety reasons, installation and connection to the on-board supply system must be
carried out by authorized specialist personnel.
The seat connections must be protected separately from other vehicle components.

Note for seat switches: Min. and max. current carrying capacity with purely resistive load.
For inductive or capacitive loads, the vehicle manufacturer must protect the loads on the
vehicle. If unclear, contact the vehicle manufacturer before connection.
When making the electrical connection, a circuit must be selected with which the
electrical loads of the driver's seat are disconnected from the mains by switching off the
ignition.
