TRIGGER LOCK MECHANISM

(Fig. 10) This tool has a Trigger Lock. The trigger should be
locked at all times until you intend to drive nail into the work sur-
face. Push and rotate the Trigger LOCK Dial 1 clockwise from
LOCK to UNLOCK position immediately before driving nails.
When fastening is complete, push and rotate switch counter-

(Fig.11) This gauge can be used to control shingle spacing. Loos-
en the screw to adjust gauge to desired shingle exposure, as
shown.
CLEANING THE ROOFING NAILER (CN445R3, CN445R2(CE))
WARNING
Do not use gasoline or similar highly flammable liquids to
clean the nailer.
(Fig.12) Vapor could be ignited by a spark causing an explo-
sion.Tar and dirt may build up on the Nose and Contact Arm. This
can prevent correct operation. Remove any build-up with kero-
sene, #2 fuel oil or diesel fuel. Do not dunk the nailer into these
solvents beyond the height of the nail heads, to avoid getting the
solvent into the drive cylinder. Dry off the nailer before use. Any
oil film left after cleanup will accelerate the tar buildup, and the
nailer will require more frequenter cleaning.
DIRECTIONAL EXHAUST COVER (CN550S(CE), CN565S3,
CN565S2(CE), CN665D)
(Fig.13) Direction of the exhaust air is changeable by rotating ex-
