Batteries can be life-threatening if swallowed. Therefore you
should store batteries out of the reach of young children. If a
battery has been swallowed, medical assistance must be
sought immediately.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Batteries must not be charged
or reactivated by other means, nor must they be dismantled,
crushed, thrown into a fire or short-circuited.
It is only permitted to charge batteries that are marked "re-
chargeable".
Avoid short-circuiting the batteries with metal objects such as
e.g. rings, coins, bracelets or keys. Short-circuited batteries
and the conductive objects can overheat and cause burns.
Be sure to observe the correct polarity when inserting the
batteries. Replace only with the same or an equivalent type.
Clean the contacts of the batteries and device before insert-
ing the batteries.
Always remove used batteries from the device immediately,
since these may leak and therefore cause damage.
Remove the batteries from the device if you intend not to use
it for an extended period of time. The batteries may leak and
damage the device.
Only use batteries of the same brand and the same type,
and never combine used and new batteries with one anoth-
er.
Always replace all batteries at the same time.
Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not subject batteries
to extreme conditions, place them on radiators or expose
them to direct sunlight. Otherwise, there is an increased dan-
ger of batteries leaking.
If battery acid has leaked, avoid contact with the skin, eyes
and mucous membranes. In case of contact with the acid,
