For the headings "Balance" and "Fader",
the display indicates the type of setting
followed by the adjustment value of the
setting.
You can then modify the value of each
setting by pressing 5 or 13 and 15. The
value ranges for each setting are as fol-
lows:
– Balance (from -5 to +5),
– Fader (from -5 to +5).
The system automatically exits the
menu without any action on your part.
You can also exit the menu by press-
ing 11.
Radio services and
messages
Tracking an FM radio station
(RDS-AF)
Press 10 to access the "RDS/i" menu.
Press 6 to select "RDS-AF".
Press 5 to select:
– OFF: RDS-AF deactivated;
– Regional: RDS-AF activated for lis-
tening to regional radio stations;
– National: RDS-AF activated for lis-
tening to national radio stations.
Traffic information (i TRAFFIC)
Press 10 to access the "RDS/i" menu.
Press 6 to select "i TRAFFIC".
Select the "i TRAFFIC" menu (ON/
OFF). Press 5 to activate/deactivate
the function. The i TRAFFIC icon is dis-
played on the screen to indicate that
the function has been activated.
Traffic information is broadcast au-
tomatically and has priority over the
source being listened to at the time.
Press 10 to interrupt information being
broadcast.

Programme type search (i PTY)
Press 10 to access the "RDS/i" menu.
Press 6 to select "i PTY".
Select the "i PTY" menu (ON/OFF).
Press 5 to activate/deactivate the func-
tion.
The i PTY icon is displayed on the
screen to indicate that the function is
active.
Select the desired programme from the
options listed in the information on the
"Programme type search (i PTY)" in the
"Listening to the radio" section.
Follow the same procedure to deacti-
vate this function.
