4. Install Hitch and bumper beam – Raise hitch and bumper beam onto vehicle aligning holes with existing weldnuts in end panel. Install the blind spot detector on
the driver's side on top of bumper beam and loosely install the supplied (7) M8 bolts, lock washers, and flat washers, (1) existing hex nut removed in step 2.
5. Tighten all M8 CL8.8 fasteners with torque wrench to 20 Lb.-Ft. (27 N*M)
Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
6. Install blind spot sensors – on the passenger's side, reinstall the blind spot sensor using (1) existing hex nut onto stud on end panel and secure to bumper beam
using (2) cable ties as shown in Figure 3. On the driver's side, install (1) existing hex nut onto stud on end panel. Tighten hex nuts until snug.
