Checking/test running and configuring the control panels
7 .1
General
• Switch on the main switch.
After switching on the power a beep will sound at each control panel
fitted.
The system is now in 'stand-by' . The panel or both the panels are not
activated.

Meaning LED indicator lights
For the meaning of the LED indicator lights, see table page
7 .3
Switching on a panel
• Press the 'ON/OFF' switch twice.
After the switch is pressed once the LED will flash green and the
buzzer will sound continuously didididididi..... (. . . . . . .) The 'ON/OFF'
switch must be pressed a second time within 6 seconds. The LED
(blue) will remain on and the buzzer will confirm that the panel is
ready for use by giving the signal dahdidah (- . -).
If a second panel is connected the LED on the panel 'which has not
been switched ON' will flash (every second two short blue flashes,
heartbeat)

Restore factory settings
Switch off all control panels (see 7.4) and perform the following actions to restore the factory settings of one panel:

Configuring the panels
• Implement the configuration or
the panel for controlling a bow
or stern thruster as in section 7.7.
• Implement the configuration for
the helm station where the panel
is sited as in section 7.8.
• If during test running it emerges
that the movement of the boat
is opposite to the direction the
joystick is moved in, this can be
modified as indicated in 7.9.

2. After 30 seconds the LED on the upper left is quick flashing red
and the LED at the upper right is green. You hear the signal,
dah-di-di-di-dah (-... -). Now release the "ON / OFF" button.

Do not test the bow thruster when the boat is out of the water
unless you are convinced that everyone is at a safe distance
from the propeller tunnel .
For the operation of a CAN-bus controlled (V-CAN) bow and stern
thruster a single DBPPJA panel can also be used. For installation and
configuration see the separate manual of the DBPPJA.

Switching OFF a panel
Press once the 'ON/OFF' switch, the buzzer will reply with the signal
didididahdidah ( . . . - . - ).
• Turn off the battery main switch when leaving the boat.

GREEN
3. Press the "ON / OFF" button once.
All LEDs are off and you hear the signal,
di-dah-di (.-.). The control panel has
now been reset to factory settings.
Keep to the following sequence for configuring the panels:
1) Configuring a panel for operating a bow or stern thruster (see
section 7.7),
2) Configuring a panel for the helm station where the panel is
situated (see section 7.8),
3) Changing the thrust force direction (only if this proves neces-
sary during test running, see section 7.9).
The illustrated operations must be performed on EACH panel in-
stalled .
