INSTALLATION

Installing the battery

1. Disconnect the telephone line & remove the telephone index card.
2. Open the battery door & insert 4x AAA batteries according to the indicated polarities. Close the battery
door.

To connect to the phone line

1. Connect the handset coil cord to the inlet on the bottom side of the lower housing.
2. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the inlet in the left hand side of the lower housing and
the other end to the wall outlet. Make sure that the plugs should be matched correctly. If there is no
suitable wall outlet in the house, a plug adaptor should be added. Consult your distributor / retailer for
further assistance.

Replacement of batteries

Based on the following steps:
1. Disconnect the telephone cord;
2. Push the battery door upwards to open it, remove the old batteries with new ones
according to the indicated polarities;
3. Push the battery door downwards to close it.

WALL MOUNTING

In order to prevent the handset from falling, just reverse the handset lock knob. This knob can be picked
up or inserted in by pushing it upwards or downwards respectively.
