Algunas de estas fuentes están indicadas claramente y son fáciles de evitar. Otras no son visibles y la exposición es inevitable. Sin embargo, creemos que las advertencias siguientes pueden reducir al mínimo el riesgo de efectos de la EMC.

Es importante que los neumáticos tengan siempre una banda de rodadura suficiente y que la presión de los neumáticos sea correcta, porque estos dos fac- tores afectan al buen funcionamiento de los frenos. Si la presión de los neumáticos es incorrecta, es más difícil conducir su silla de ruedas hacia adelante en línea recta.

Electromagnetic radiation (EMC) from radio waves Electronic wheelchairs can be sensitive to electromagnetic radiation (EMC), i.e. interfering electro- magnetic energy (EM) originating from sources such as radio transmitters, TV transmitters, amateur radio transmitters, walkie-talkies and cell phones.

    14. WHEELS The MINOS POWER has standard pneumatic tires. It is important that the tires always have sufficient tread and that the tire pressure is correct, because these two factors affect how well the brakes ope- rate. If the tire pressure is incorrect, it is harder to drive your wheelchair forwards in a straight line.
  • Página 35 We recommend storing the wheelchair in a clean, damp-free space. The temperature in the storage space may not be higher than +40ºC or lower than -10ºC. If the MINOS POWER is not used for longer periods, we recommend first charging the batteries and then disconnecting the battery con- nectors.

    For the sake of safety and to prevent accidents resulting from wear and tear that is not recognised on time, it is important to have the MINOS POWER serviced every six months by an official MINOS dealer. The following checklist for semi-annual maintenance is only a guideline when carrying out a maintenance service.

Dies gewährleistet einen ausreichenden Schutz gegenüber den meisten üblichen Elektronikgeräten welche als Störquellen im täglichen Umfeld in Frage kommen. Die hier beschriebenen Elektrorollstühle weisen diesen Schutzgrad von 20V/m auf. Sie wurden nach den Bedingungen der einschlägigen Norm EN12184 getestet.

Batterie-Ladestandsanzeiger Die Batterieanzeige zeigt an, ob der Rollstuhl eingeschaltet ist und wie viel Stromenergie noch zur Verfügung steht.

BREMSEN Das Bremssystem des MINOS POWER wird automatisch über den Joystick betätigt. Wenn der Joystick sich in der neutralen Stellung, gemäss Abbildung 10/1 befindet, sind die Bremsen aktiviert.
  • Página 50 Im Falle eines plötzlichen Stromausfalls, werden die Bremsen sofort aktiviert. 9. FREILAUF / NEUTRALSTELLUNG Wenn erforderlich, kann der MINOS POWER auch von Hand geschoben werden. Um den Freilauf einzulegen müssen zuerst die Motoren abgekoppelt werden, um die elektro- magnetischen Bremsen zu deaktivieren.
  • Página 51 Suchen Sie sich dafür einen ruhigen und ebenen Platz mit genügend Freiraum. Eine Begleitperson sollte anwesend sein um Ihnen gegebenenfalls helfen zu können. Nehmen Sie sich genügend Zeit. Der MINOS POWER ist einfach zu bedienen, mit etwas Praxis werden Sie rasch damit vertraut sein. Fahren und Lenken Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Voreinstellung der Geschwindigkeit auf das Minimum programmiert ist.

    Gehsteige, Bordsteine VORSICHT! Der MINOS POWER ist dafür ausgelegt, niedrige Bordsteine und Absätze von maximal 5 cm Höhe zu befahren. Die Motoren wären zwar stark genug, um auch höhere Absätze zu über- winden, aber die Fahrstabilität des Rollstuhls kann nicht mehr gewährleistet werden.   • Página 53 BEDIENUNGS- UND WARTUNGSHANDBUCH Die Ladezeit bei 20-30%iger Restladung beträgt 12 Stunden für den Minos Power II (50Ah) und 8 Stunden für den Minos Power Basic (35 Ah). In Zeiten, in denen die Batterien nicht benutzt werden, müssen sie einmal monatlich 24 Stunden lang aufgeladen werden.

    14. RÄDER Der MINOS POWER ist standardmässig mit Luftreifen ausgestattet. Es ist wichtig, dass die Reifen stets genügend Profil aufweisen und korrekt gepumpt sind. Dies beeinflusst unter anderem die Bremsleistung. Ungenügend aufgepumpte Reifen erschweren die Fahrt geradeaus und in Kurvenfahrten.
