dles; it can then be removed from the rail (see figure 17) Pull the
second battery container towards you using the handles and then
remove in the same way.
Collapasing the MINOS POWER
Stand to one side of the wheelchair, reach down and grasp the seat
in your hands at the front and back. Lift the seat up swiftly to unlock
the seat tubing from the frame saddles (figure 18). Once these are
unlocked, keep lifting upwards until the wheelchair is fully collapsed
(figure 19).
Comments
1. The armrests are NOT suitable for lifting the
MINOS POWER by!
2. After adjusting, make sure that the armrests are
securely fastened again.
3. You can remove both armrests, for example for transporting the
MINOS OWER in a smaller car. However, pay extra attention to
the armrest with the control box! It is better not to remove the
armrest to which the control box is attached.
Transport instructions
When transporting the wheelchair without a
passenger:
1. First, prepare the Minos Power for transport (see above text).
2. Place the wheelchair in the vehicle.
3. Fasten the wheelchair with a taxi bar or rope or belts so that it is
secured well.
When transporting the wheelchair with a passenger:
We generally recommend the wheelchair user to always use another
vehicle during transport and to occupy a proper seat in that vehicle.
1. The wheelchair must be fitted with an attachment for a so-called
"taxi bar".
2. The wheelchair must be fastened in the vehicle using the "taxi
bar".
3. The vehicle in which the wheelchair is transported must be
modified for wheelchair transport.
4. The wheelchair must be fitted with a seat belt.
!Preferably sit in a passenger seat in a car and wear a safety belt.
!In the case of an accident, the stability of the wheelchair can never
be guaranteed.
Storage conditions
We recommend storing the wheelchair in a clean, damp-free space.
The temperature in the storage space may not be higher than +40ºC
or lower than -10ºC.
If the MINOS POWER is not used for longer periods, we recommend
first charging the batteries and then disconnecting the battery con-
nectors.
