MINOSPOWER
The charging period when at 20%-30% of its capacity must
be at least 12 hours for the Minos Power II (50Ah) and at
least 8 hours for the Minos Power Basic (35Ah). During
periods of disuse, they must be charged at least once a
month for 24 hours. The green light on the charger indicates
that it is in the last phase of the charging process, NOT that
charging has been completed. Follow the marked charging
times.
Charger
The automatic battery charger was specially developed for
the purpose and is not suitable for use elsewhere! The bat-
tery charger must be approved according to insulation class
2 (double insulation) and be suitable for unmonitored char-
ging. Use the correct charger for your MINOS POWER. If you
don't, damage may occur. Also, your guarantee will be void.
Charging the batteries
1. Park the MINOS POWER at a wall socket. Turn the MINOS POWER off by pressing the on/off
switch.
2. Place the charger cable with a 3-pinned plug in the contact on the front of the MINOS POWER
control box (figure 13)
3. Now plug the charger into the wall socket.

General instructions
1. First, unplug the charger from the wall socket before disconnecting the connecter from the
MINOS POWER contact.
2. Only use the charger indoors and do not expose it to rain or moisture.
3. Do not use an extension cord unless absolutely necessary. Charging without an extension cord
is safer and is more efficient.
4. Do not interrupt the charging or end it prematurely. Before you stop charging, make sure that
the green light on the charger is on.
5. Charge the batteries regularly, even if the Minos Power is not in use for a while.
Battery life
It is impossible to specify battery life. This depends on how often they are used, the load and main-
tenance.

The dry maintenance-free batteries were specially developed for electrical drive. It is completely safe
to charge them at home with the special charger. Thanks to the use of gastight batteries, no dan-
gerous fumes are emitted.
13. ATTACHING THE SEAT BELT
The attachment point for the seat belt is located at the back of the MINOS POWER. The seat belt is
generally attached by an official MINOS dealer.
The seat belt is an aid to help the user remain seated in the wheelchair.
