2. Safety
In addition to the warning signs and the warnings
in the Operating Instructions, users of the Mondo
must comply strictly with the following provisions.
Before starting to operate the Mondo, it must al-
ways be checked for safety in traffic and opera-
tional safety.
The Mondo is manufactured in accordance with
the state-of-the-art, and is operationally safe.
When using the Mondo, it is forbidden to wear
loose long hair, loose garments or jewelry which
might become trapped in the machine. Closed
footwear with non-slip soles is indispensable.
When using the machine with the rotary hoe, the
ancillary equipment automatically switches off
when driving backwards.
Acquaint yourself with all the equipment and the
controls, and with their functions.
All defects must always be rectified before the
machine is used.
The operator bears full responsibility in respect of
third parties in the working area. Keep people (es-
pecially children) and pets away from the machi-
nes working area.
Any method of working which impairs the stability
of the machine is prohibited.
Before starting work, foreign bodies must be remo-
ved from the area to be worked on. Milestones,
pieces of stone, drainage and pipework covers, etc.
should be identified with a marker post before mo-
wing.
Only work during daylight, or with adequate artifi-
cial light.
You must not be under the influence of alcohol or
drugs when you use the machine.
Note that this machine requires an increased ex-
penditure of effort.
Never allow children to use this machine.
No persons must be transported on the machine.
Never leave the machine unsupervised while the
engine is running.
Secure the Mondo against rolling away and un-
authorised use.
No changes must be made to safety devices.
Warning signs must not be removed. Any missing
or poorly legible warning signs must be replaced.
