Rolling off on a slope

On slopes with an inclination of more than 40% or on uneven terrain, the machine may slip
or topple over.
•
Observe the ambient conditions.
•
Inspect the subsoil before work.
•
Select the correct tyres: Double wheels, sprocket wheels, ... .
•
Correct air pressure in the tyres.
•
Use the largest possible track width and axle width.
•
Adapt your speed.
•
Closed footwear with non-slip soles is indispensable.
•
Keep people away from the danger zone.
Simple checking of the slope inclination in % with a spirit level, see illustration below.
When the engine is switched off or the clutch is engaged, the machine can roll off.

Apply the immobilisation brake.
