Leaving the machine

• Turn the forward/reverse control to 0 position.
• Deactivate the PTO shaft drive.
• Apply the parking brake.
• Remove the ignition and starter switch (only in combination with an electric starter).
• Place the machine on a motor protection plate without the attachment unit. The handle-
bar ends must not touch the ground, adjust the handlebar height accordingly.
The machine can suddenly trap the user or third persons, cause them to fall over or run
them over.
• Never leave the machine while the engine is running.
• Secure the machine against rolling away and unauthorized use.

Lifting the machine

The fastening devices (1) allow the machine to be lifted safely.
Lift machine using suitable lifting gear at the fastening devices (1).
The machine may strike dead people or animals, or damage objects.
• The machine should be separated from the attachment for lifting purposes.
• People must not stand under the lifted load.
• Only approved lifting gear may be used.
• Pay attention to load-bearing capacity of lifting gear.
• Pay attention to the weight of the machine.
