Clean your product regularly to keep it in optimum condition, as described below:
1. Fill your appliance to the maximum milk level with water containing a few drops of washing up liquid
2. Press the «hot milk» button
3. Rinse and wipe the container clean at the end of the cycle
IF USING FOR SUCCESSIVE CYCLES
1. Cappuccino Function: For reasons of efficiency (temperature and quality of froth) and
hygiene, if you want to heat quantities of milk several times in a row, we advise that you rinse
the inside of the pot under cold water, in order to prevent the formation of a skin of milk in the
bottom of the jug.
2. Caffe Latte Function: In order to ensure that this recipe works well, take care to clean the
inside of the pot between each use in order to remove the skin of milk which forms there, and
use cold milk straight out of the fridge.
THE VARIOUS PREPARATIONS
This appliance allows milk to be heated and/or frothed in three different ways to obtain different
froths and temperatures. We can use pasteurised (fresh) milk or UHT, skimmed, semi-skimmed
or whole milk, either from the refrigerator or at room temperature. The use of special milks such
as micro filtered (which has more bacteria filtered out than pasteurised), unpasteurised,
fermented (such as buttermilk) and enriched, may give less satisfactory results especially in terms
of the quality of the froth.
However we recommend that you use very fresh milk or that has only been opened recently. For
each preparation, the maximum amount of milk is indicated by a raised line inside the jug and the
minimum level is when the liquid covers the emulsifier.
For chocolate recipes, you do not have to refer to the three levels on the pot. Depending on the
smoothness required, you can mix your preparation as much or as little as you like, regardless of
the volume of milk. Mixing with the highest intensity to the lowest: cappuccino then latte then
hot milk.
Note: if you are using powdered chocolate, it is best to add this after the milk.
