GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION

A filter is a device which keeps solid particles greater than a certain size out of the operating
medium being pumped. According to EN 12514-2, the filter in fuel oil consumer installations
must keep out foreign bodies with a particle size > 0.2mm.
Dirt and rust particles or sediment which results from the oxidation of hydrocarbons during the
ageing of fuel oil may be present in fuel oil.
If these foreign bodies are not filtered out then increased wear on the sensitive components of
the burner such as pump, preheater and nozzle is to be expected to the point of failure.

If the O-ring 500 FKM is used instead of the enclosed O-ring 500 NBR (see LIST OF
ACCESSORIES), the single conduit filter type 500EZ for Bio fuel oil with a maximum
of 50% (V/V) FAME can be used.

Place of operation
• for use in areas prone to flooding and risk areas
• operate indoors and outdoors, if protected against the weather

• changes to the product or parts of the product,
