Voltage Measurement

Do not attempt to measure more than 750 VAC or 1000 VDC.
Failure to observe this warning may result in serious injury or death.
Disconnect the test leads from the component or circuit under test
before changing the position of the range selector.
Failure to observe this precaution may result in minor injury and/or
damage to this instrument.
1. Plug the black test lead into the COM input terminal, and plug the red test lead into the
VΩBAT input terminal.
2. Set range selector to the appropriate DCV or ACV range.
Note: When measuring an unknown voltage, start at the highest range.
3. Touch the test leads to the circuit under test and read the display.
Note: If the resolution of the reading is not satisfactory, disconnect the meter from the circuit
and switch to the next lower range. Reconnect the meter to the circuit and read the
display. Repeat this procedure until the resolution is satisfactory.
