For your safety

In order to guarantee correct and efficient usage of the full
face mask, read the following recommendations and ensure
you follow them.
Strictly follow the instructions for use.
Use of the full face mask implies that you have carefully read
and are following the instructions for use. The equipment
may only be used for the specific purpose for which it is
designed.
Maintenance
The equipment must be regularly inspected and maintained
by trained service personnel. Each inspection and mainte-
nance operation must be fully documented.
Repairs must only be carried out by trained service person-
nel.
We recommend that you enter into a contract for technical
assistance for maintenance services and repairs to the
equipment.
Only original Dräger parts should be used for the mainte-
nance of the equipment.
See the chapter on "Test and Maintenance Intervals".
Safety Symbols
While reading this Manual, you will come across a number of
warnings concerning some of the risks and dangers you may
face while using the device. These warnings contain "signal"
words that will alert you to the degree of hazard you may
encounter. These words, and the hazard they describe, are
as follows:

Feature description
It is provided with a standard thread connection according to
EN 148-1.
Only certified respiratory protection equipment may be used
such as compressed-air breathing apparatus, purifying respi-
rators, normal-pressure air line systems or respiratory filters
with thread connection according to EN 148–1(RA)

Intended use
The full face mask protects the face and eyes in aggressive
environments.
Limitations of use
A beard below the mask seal can cause leakages! The
mask must not be used by persons with facial hair.
The arms of the glasses below the sealing of the mask can
also cause leakages. In this case, a mask spectacle kit
must be used.
