eversing the direCtion thAt the doors open
You can change the direction that your refrigerator doors open if necessary. To make
these changes, remove all door shelves from the refrigerator and follow the steps
indicated below or contact a qualified professional.
Unplug the appliance from the power point when
reversing the direction that the doors open.
To reverse the opening direction of the doors, use a Phillips screwdriver, a suitable
open-end spanner (or an adjustable spanner) and have someone else assist you by
holding the appliance doors during the operation.
1. Unscrew the screws securing the top (top of the
refrigerator) and remove it.
2. Unscrew the screws securing the top right hinge/
pivot (A) (Figure opposite) and remove it.
3. Carefully release the upper door from its middle
pivot pin (B) and gently remove it.
4. Unscrew the pivot pin on the upper hinge.
5. Flip the top hinge over, secure the pivot pin on the
other side and screw the hinge back on the top left
of the refrigerator.
6. Remove the protective cover on the right side of the
upper door to release the top hinge/pivot receiving
compartment and refit the cover on the opposite side.
7. Tilt the

the appliance by manually turning them anticlockwise.
9. Unscrew the screws securing the bottom right
hinge/pivot (figure opposite) and remove it.
10. Carefully release the door from its middle pivot (B) and gently remove it.
11. To reverse the opening direction of the 2 doors, unscrew the middle pivot pin/
