a) Maintenance
The S

control unit, as well as

the handpiece cord, should be cleaned and
disinfected (using alcohol and/or disinfectant
dental wipes) on a daily basis.
b) Inspection
The accessories and cords should be inspected
regularly for insulation faults and replaced if
necessary.
It is important to check the state of cleanliness of
the air vents of the control unit in order to avoid
overheating.
Check there is no trace of damp in the handpiece
connection, otherwise dry it (wipe it and blow on
it with the multifunction syringe).
WARNING: Do not use the device if it appears to
be defective.
Note : If a fault occurs, it is advisable to contact
the supplier of your S
UPRASSON
than have it repaired by an unauthorized person.

Note: for carrying out repairs to defective items
where such repairs can be carried out, SATELEC
makes all information necessary available to
technical staff of the SATELEC® approved dealers
network on request.
7. 1 WATER
MAINTENANCE
The water filter should be cleaned regularly and
should be changed every 6 months.
This is done in the following manner (Figure 4):
- Switch off the water supply, switch off the
device (OI position) then unplug the mains plug
(Figure 4, diag. 1).
- Unscrew the two parts of the filter (Figure 4,
diag. 2) using two 10mm open-ended
wrenches.
- Withdraw the filter cartridge (Figure 4, diag. 3)

to replace (ref: F 10389) or clean it under

running water.
- Proceed in the same manner for the seal.
- Carry out the procedure in reverse to
reassemble (Figure 4, diags. 4,5 & 6).
- Check that the spray operates correctly and
that there are no leaks (Figure 4, diag. 7).
Warning: a worn or damaged cartridge should
be replaced.
