INSTALLATION
• Conveyor Set-Up
1 . Mark a chalk line on floor to locate center of the conveyor (Floor Mounted
Conveyors) .
2 . Install remaining sections placing end without support on extended support
of previous section . Check "Match Mark" Numbers to see that adjoining
sections are in proper sequence
3 . Fasten sections together with splice plates and pivot plates . Hand tighten
bolts only .
4 . Check to see that conveyor is level across width and length of unit . Adjust
supports as necessary .
MAINTENANCE
• How to Replace Rollers
Depending on the width of the 190FBRG, rollers are either spring loaded or
loose and held in with lacing pin . Access to all rollers will require finger slide
to be extended, and may require removal of the finger slide . See "Removing
Drawers" section for finger slide removal .
-For 48" oaw with spring loaded rollers:
1 . Locate the hex shaft of the roller needing replaced, and using a screwdriver
or pliers, push or pull depending on the orientation of the roller to disengage
hex shaft from frame .
2 . As shaft disengages place vertical pressure on the roller tube which
removes it from the frame .
3 . To reinstall a new roller, place the "Hard" end in the hex hole and place a
putty knife between the side channel and the "Soft" end of the roller .
4 . Pry the putty knife toward the center of the roller and push down until the
roller is close to the hex hole and remove putty knife allowing the hex shaft to
reengage the hex hole .
-For 36" oaw with rollers held in place with lacing pin .
1 . Locate the hex shaft of the roller needing replaced, and using pliers, pull the
lacing pin from the end of the section through other hex shafts until the roller
needing replaced is free to remove .
2 . Repeat on the other side of the roller shaft .
3 . Remove shaft while holding damaged roller .
4 . Place new roller in frame and reverse the process with the shaft and lacing
pin .
5 . Place a slight bend in the lacing pin at far end to help prevent lacing from
coming out .
• Removing Drawers
Removal of the slide drawer assembly may be necessary in order to replace
the damaged rollers in the portion that remains overlapped of the extended
positions .
1 . Extend the slide drawer assembly and locate the UHMW stop blocks at the
extended end of the base assembly .
2 . Place a sawhorse or another supporting device under extension near stop
block end .
3 . Using a 9/16" socket with a 10" extension, remove the hardware on all (4)
stop blocks . (Warning: When blocks are removed, slide drawer can continue
to slide out .)
4 . With stop blocks removed and supporting the slide drawer end, pull out to
clear slide base and set on top of sawhorse or supporting device .
5 . Follow instructions above in "How to Replace Rollers" .
6 . With drawer removed, it is suggested to check coated slide rollers to verify
they run smoothly with a concentric rotation .
7 . Reverse instructions 1-4 to place slide drawer assembly back into base
assembly .
• Troubleshooting
The following charts list possible problems that may occur in the operation of the 190FBRG .
TROUBLE
Slide section difficult to pull out
CAUSE
1) Debris .
2) Extension misaligned .
3) Coated Slide Rollers have failed .
SOLUTION
1) Clear debris .
2) Fully extend, blow/brush rail to clean, retract extension to realign .
3) Replace Coated Slide Rollers .
