Startup

Unpacking
1. Remove the appliance, all accessory
parts and the user manual from the box.
2. Remove all packaging materials and pro-
tective foils from the product and the acces-
sories before using it for the first time.
3. Check for visible signs of damage or
missing items.
NOTE
Never remove the rating plate or any
warning signs on the appliance.
Keep the original packaging during the
warranty or guarantee period in order to
return the appliance in the packaging in
the event of a warranty or guarantee claim.
Transport damage will invalidate the war-
ranty or guarantee.

To mount the cover, proceed as follows:
1. Insert the screw from below through the
washer and the silicon ring and then insert
both through the cover (image A1).
2. Twist the screw into the lid handle with a
screwdriver and tighten it.
NOTE
Check the handle for firm seating before
you use the cover.
To mount the feet, proceed as follows:
1. Push one foot from below through the
openings in the plastic housing marked on
the right and the left (image B1).
2. Screw the foot tightly with the screw cap
from above (image B2).
3. Mount the other two feet in the same way
(image B3).
1. Clean the appliance as described in
the section Cleaning and maintenance
(page 14).
2. Operate the appliance at the highest level
for a few minutes only as described in the
section Operate the appliance (page 13).
3. Allow the appliance to cool down.
4. Clean the grill plate used with a damp
cloth.
5. Wash the grill plate with a kitchen towel
soaked in cooking oil.
