2. ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY

Make sure there are no missing or defective parts before assembly, clean all parts and then start up.
1) Tighten bolts, screws and other fasteners to each corresponding assembly part.
2) Fit damping rings, gaskets, felt wool or other secondary seals to each relevant mounting part.
3) Fit the ring and gaskets to the housing cover.
4) Mount the ball bearings to the shaft, and the joint shaft and bearing housing juntis, close the bea-
ring cover with the bolts and then put the puller on the shaft.
5) Press the stationary seal ring on the mechanical seal cover, put the seal cover, mechanical seal,
shaft sleeve one by one on Tel shaft.
6) Fix the bearing housing cover by fixing the bolts, put the key on the shaft, put the impeller on the
shaft against the impeller and tighten them.
7) Fix all assembly parts where mentioned above on the volute casing, tighten all bolts and screws for
volute casing, casing cover and mechanical seal.
3. INSTALLATION
The correct way of installation of the pump makes great sense for a stable performance and a long
service life. The whole assembly and adjustment procedure should be carried out carefully. For outline
and dimension, see outline and dimension table.
ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT
1) Remove all dust and dirt on the base plate, then place it on the bedplate.
2) Check the level of the bedplate with a level gauge, iron or steel wedges can be used for adjustment.
3) Pour concrete into the holes in the base plate and anchor bolts.
4) Check the casting bolts to see if it is loose or not after concreting, and then tighten the bolts, check
the level again.
5) Clean the mounting surfaces of the base plate, pump foot and motor foot, and fix the pump and
motor on the base plate.
6) Make sure that the clearance between couplings is 2-4 mm. The centre line of the pump must be
aligned with that of the motor, the axial and radial tolerance is 0.2 mm. Shims are available for align-
ment.
