1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance.
Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
• Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage sta-
ted on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall
outlet is grounded.
• This appliance is intended for outdoor use only. Do not use
for indoor, commercial or industrial use. Do not use to dry
textiles, heat buildings, greenhouses or sheds.
• The lamps in this appliance are fragile, handle with care.
Avoid knocking or dropping the device.
• This appliance must be installed following the installation
instructions.
• This heater is powerful and emits large amounts of heat.
We recommend that people (particularly the elderly, babies,
animals and the infirm) are not exposed to this direct heat.
• Do not place the appliance close to heat sources, flammable
objects such as curtains, furniture or surfaces where it can
fall or be pushed into water or allow it to come into contact
with water or other liquids.
• Do not run the power cable under carpeting. Do not cover
the power cable with rugs, runner, or similar coverings.
Arrange the power cable away from foot traffic and where
it will not be tripped over.
• Do not place the cord around sharp corners.
• Do not insert any objects or body parts in the appliance.
• Do not wind the power cord too tightly.
• Do not leave the device operating and unattended for long
periods of time. In that case, ensure it is turned off and
disconnected from the power supply.
• The heating element (and particularly the grill)
gets hot during use. Do not touch this part of the
device until the heater has cooled down.
