RADIO OPERATION
You can use the radio to receive DAB+ and FM radio stations.You can store
up to 40 preset DAB+ and FM radio stations each.
NOTE
When the device is first used, it starts in DAB+ radio mode and the station
list of the available DAB+ radio stations is created automatically. The
display now shows the message 'Scanning... '.
DAB+ radio operation (DAB)
Automatic station scan with station storage (AMS)
The automatic station scan with station saving scans the entire frequency
band once and automatically saves the found DAB+ radio stations as a
station list.
• This device must be switched on. If necessary, briefly press the Standby
button to switch on the device.
• Briefly press the SOURCE/BT button (several times if necessary) until
DAB+ radio mode DAB is shown on the display.
• Press the INFO/MENU button for approx. 2 seconds. The LCD display
shows the message 'Full scan'.
• Press the dial to start the automatic station scan with station saving.
The LCD display shows the message 'Scanning...' and the number of
stations found. The search progress is displayed as a progress bar. The
DAB+ radio stations found are automatically stored in alphabetical
order in the station list. When the scan is finished, the first station in
the station list is automatically played.
NOTE
An automatic station scan with station saving may overwrite an existing
station list.
Selecting stations
• In DAB+ radio mode, press the TUNE+ button or the TUNE– button
to select a DAB+ radio station from the station list. Alternatively, after
pressing the TUNE+ button or the TUNE- button, you can use the dial to
select a station from the station list.
• Press the dial (henceforth called dial) to play back the selected station.
