SAFETY NOTICES
• This device should only be used by children aged 8 years and over, as well as by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are
supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the device and understand the dangers
associated with its use. Children must never be allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and
user maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are over 8 years old and
supervised. The device is to be kept away from children younger than 8 years of age.
• If you heat the pot when it is empty, make sure that it does not overheat. This could seriously
damage the pot.
• Make sure that liquids in the pot never completely evaporate.
• Never fill the pot to more than 2/3 full (up to the Max. mark). If the food is likely to rise or bubble
over, only fill up to a maximum of halfway.
• Use only when clean! Dirt and impurities can impair the functionality of the steam valve.
• The screws on the handles must always be tightened. If the screws become loose, they must be
re-tightened.
• Do not use any abrasive, caustic or scratching cleaning agents, as these can damage the non-
stick coating.
• Use only wooden or plastic utensils. Metal utensils can damage the non-stick coating.
• Read this manual carefully before use, and include it with the appliance if ever passed on to a
third party.
• Use only for the purposes described herein.
• The pot becomes very hot when in use. Never touch any part other than the handles. Additionally,
protect your hands with pot holders or oven gloves.
• Risk of burns! If the pot is placed on a stove that is too large, the handles can get hot.
• Warning! Children are often unable to fully assess potential dangers, which can lead to injuries.
Therefore, please note: Make sure that the packaging film does not pose any risk or hazard to
children. The packaging film is not a toy.
USE
Caution! Before using for the first time, clean the pan and all parts with warm water and mild detergent to remove production residues (see
Cleaning). After this, thoroughly dry all parts
COOKING
1. Check the pressure valve and seal: Check that the steam valve can move, and is not stuck. Then check the sealing ring for damage (e.g.
cracks). Note: Over time, the sealing ring can harden, and begin to lose its sealing quality. In this case, steam will escape from the edge of the lid.
We then recommend replacing the sealing ring; please contact our customer service (contact details on the back).
2. Fill the pot with the desired ingredients.
• To avoid damaging the pot, always add at least 0.2 l of liquid, or a little oil or fat, to prevent the pot from overheating.
• Thanks to the high-quality coating, cooking is also possible without oil or fat. In this case, make sure that the pot does not overheat.
3. Heat the pot on the appropriate stove ring at the highest level.
4. After searing or boiling, reduce the heat to the lowest level.
5. Putting on the lid (# 2): Now put the lid on the pot. Align the cover so that the pressure valve is at a right angle (90°) to the locking handles and
points away from you. This will prevent the handles from getting hot or causing burns.
6. Closing the lid: Apply light pressure to the lid and slide the top of the locking handles inward to close the lid.
7. Adjust the heat level if necessary. As little steam as possible should escape from the steam valve. The food should only simmer.
