6. Commissioning and use
This product is intended for domestic use only.
Caution: Never use the appliance with just one plate. Always make sure that 2
identical plates are inserted.
1.
You can apply some vegetable oil to the plates to make sure that you can
easily remove the leftovers after baking.
2.
Close the lid and then lock the handle.
3.
Insert the mains plug of the appliance into the socket. The red "POWER"
LED lights up.
4.
Switch on the appliance by turning the roasting/browning level regulator
and select your preferred level of browning. The appliance then starts to
heat up.
5.
When the heating elements reach their operating temperature, the green
"Ready" LED lights up and the appliance is ready for use.
6.
Open the lid using the handle by opening the lock first.
7.
Please place the food item to be cooked on the lower plate.
8.
Close the lid and then lock the handle.
9.
When using the grill plates for sandwiches, make sure to use the handle to
push down.
10.
While the appliance is switched on, the green light will go on and off
since the thermostat switches on and off to maintain the desired level of
roasting/browning.
11.
The baking time depends on your personal taste. Experiment with the
baking time and roasting/browning levels to obtain the best results.
