Before operating your unit please read the manual thoroughly and severely conform to the operation methods mentioned in this manual. Otherwise, unex-
pected damage to unit or injury to yourself or others may occur.
Check-up before operation
• Ensure the grounding wire is well.
Ensure the filter is well installed.
•
• Before you restart a long period-unused air conditioner please clean the filter.
• Refer to "Care and maintenance" for details.
Ensure the outlet and inlet of outdoor and indoor is unblocked.

Optimal operation

Pay attention to the following aspects to ensure an optimal operation.
Refer to relevant section for details.
• Adjust air flow direction for avoiding blowing directly to the people in the room.
Set the temperature properly to obtain a comfort ambient. Too low temperature is not recommended.

• Please shelter from direct sunlight with curtain or window shutter during cooling operation.
Please close door and window to avoid the formation of convection that may decrease cooling effect.
•
• Please use your remote controller to set the desired run-time.
• Do not put anything near the inlet or outlet to block the airflow. Otherwise, it may decrease the effect of air conditioner, even stop it.
Please clean air filter regularly. An air-logged air filter may affect cooling effect.

Safeguards
Note: 1. The installation must be carried out by specialized worker. Users do not install the unit by themselves for risk of injury to
yourself or others or damage to your air conditioner.
2. Please conform to "Application condition" in this manual for normal use. Otherwise, internal protect function may work or
dew dripping may occur, all of which will result in the decrease of cooling effect.
3. Please set the temperature properly especially when there are old, young or sick men in the room.
4. Lightning, neighboring car and mobile telephone may cause malfunction. Now unplug your unit for several seconds, then
restart your air conditioner.
Caution
Set the main power switch at some place untouched by young one.

• In rainy day please cut off power supply to avoid damage caused by lightning.
• If the unit is left unused for long time or nobody is in the conditioned room, please turn off the main power supply to avoid accident.
• Please turn off the main power supply to avoid accident before cleaning or maintaining the unit.
Do not use cleaning agent, liquefacient or corrosive cleanser to clean the unit or spray water or other liquid at unit, all these may damage plastic com-

ponents, even cause electric shock.
• Do not insert your hands or stick into the outlet of indoor and outdoor units. Otherwise, the high-speed fan may cause serious injury.
Do not touch the batten during the louver is rotating. Otherwise, it may clamp your fingers or cause damage to the gearing of louver.

Do not attempt to take down the cover of outdoor unit fan to avoid likely injury to you.
•
• Do not let kids play the units to avoid likely injury.
• Do not wet indoor unit and remote controller. Otherwise, it may cause short circuit or fire.
Do not use or restore flammable gas or liquid (such as fixture, paint, gasoline, etc.) near the air conditioner to avoid likely fire.

If any abnormal symptom (such as exceptional noise, odor, smog, abnormal temperature rise or electric leakage etc.) occur, turn off the power

supply immediately. Please contact local dealer.
