- INTRODUCTION
1.1 Consulting the Use & Maintenance Manual
Before working on the equipment, carefully read and understand this Use & Maintenance Manual in order to safeguard the
operator and to avoid damaging the equipment.
These instructions describe how to operate the equipment safely, economically and in compliance with the current safety regula-
tions. Following these instructions helps avoid dangerous situations, reduce repair costs and down-time and extend the service
life of the equipment.
This manual is to be kept legible and in good condition. The operating and maintenance staff should have this manual at hand, so
that they can consult it whenever needed.
1.2 Symbols and qualifications of the operators
All operations described in this manual should be performed by qualified personnel and as outlined in the manufacturer's manual.
Each procedure described herein is accompanied by an icon which indicates the qualifications required by the operators. The
instructions required to identify the personnel qualifications are given below.
Operators
Unqualified personnel capable of operating the equipment under the supervision of qualified people.
Mechanics
Qualified personnel capable of installing, servicing and repairing the equipment as directed in this manual.
AUTHORIZED SERVICE POINTS
These are the centres, indicated by our sales staff, authorized to repair the products manufactured by Campagnola.

1.3 Compliance certificate
All equipment to be marketed in the European Union (EU) fully complies with the European Council Directive 89/392. The compli-
ance certificate is supplied by the manufacturer with the Use & Maintenance Manual.
1.4 Receiving the product
When receiving the product, make sure:
•
the product has not been damaged during transport;
•
the product supplied is the same as that ordered. Check that all accessories have been delivered (refer to "Product Descrip-
tion", "Specifications" chapter).
If problems arise, contact the Campagnola Service Department quoting all details stamped on the nameplate (refer to "Product
Description", "Specifications" chapter).
1.5 Warranty
•
The electronic shear produced by Campagnola S.r.l. is guaranteed for 1 (one) year starting from its purchase date indicated
in the invoice or in any other document with legal value.
•
The warranty is to be considered valid only if the installation and use of the compressor and/or tools have been carried out
according to the instructions indicated in the Use and Maintenance Manual or to instructions written by the Authorized
Service Point personnel (Service program).
•
Originally faulty parts will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
•
The purchaser shall pay for the labour and transport costs.
•
All the parts subject to wear (belts, filters, blades, seals, etc.) are not subject to the warranty.
•
The eventual costs of intervention performed by the Campagnola personnel (inspections, disassembling and assembling
operations), caused by wrong working which was not due to manufacture faults, are not included in the warranty.
•
Replacements or repairs of faulty equipment, when warranty is claimed by the users, can only be authorized by accredited
Service Points personnel and their decision is final.
•
The Company shall not be held responsible for any injury or damage caused to people, animals or things, due to improper
use or maintenance of the compressor and/or tools. The warranty is limited to the manufacture defects.
•
The warranty is lost in case of tampering and /or even small changes and in case of use of non-original spare parts.
•
In any case the replacement of the compressor and/or tool is excluded.
WARNING!
For warranty claims, according to the above mentioned points, it is necessary to enclose the properly filled-in warranty
card and the corresponding purchase proof with date of purchase (invoice or any other document with legal value).
