• Petrol engine:
- Check the fuel level and add fuel if necessary (4 cm below the edge of the filler opening).
DANGER
Petrol is extremely combustible and explosive in certain circumstances:
• Only refill in well-ventilated areas.
• Smoking is forbidden.
• Close the fuel tank properly to prevent leaking.
• Remove leaked fuel.
• Electric motor:
- Check the electric cable and the connecting plug for damage, wind the electric cable around the
electric motor and check whether the ON/OFF switch returned to position "O".
- Do not use the pump if the electric cable is damaged and contact the Holmatro dealer.
• Air motor:
- Check the air hoses and connections for damage. Replace damaged parts, contact the
Holmatro dealer.

Cleaning and storage

All types
• Make sure the pump has cooled down.
• Clean the pump and any accessories before storage.
• Clean the hydraulic couplers. Ensure that the dust caps are fitted.
Petrol engine
• Check that the fuel valve is closed.
Storage
• Ensure that the pump cannot tilt or fall over during transport. This may result in leakage of hydraulic
oil or petrol.
• Dry the pump if it was used in wet conditions. Apply a thin coat of preservative oil to the external
steel parts.
• Store the pump horizontally in a dry and well-ventilated area.
7 Troubleshooting
7.1 General
Consult the Holmatro dealer if the listed solutions do not give the desired result, or in case of other
problems. For malfunctions or repair, always specify the model and serial number of the equipment.
7.2 The petrol motor is not running

Possible cause
The fuel has run out.
The throttle lever/stop button is in the wrong
position.
The primer (choke) is not used.

Solution
Fill the fuel tank. Gently pull the starting cord
several times to fill the fuel line with fuel.
Push the throttle lever/stop button to the left.
Press the primer (choke) button three times.
