Notes on the ∑ indicator in the viewfinder
•The indicator means:
Slow flashing: white balance is not adjusted
Fast flashing: white balance is being adjusted
(after you pressed WHITE BALANCE ∑)
Lit steady: white balance has been adjusted.
•If the ∑ indicator keeps flashing even when
you press WHITE BALANCE ∑, shoot in
automatic white balance mode. Set AUTO
LOCK to ON and slide AUTO/MANUAL
under the WHT BAL dial to AUTO.
Notes on white balance
•When you shoot with studio lighting or video
lighting, use e (indoor) mode.
•When you shoot under fluorescent lighting, use
automatic white balance mode.
Shooting when the lighting condition changes
•After the lighting condition changes, readjust
the white balance using the WHITE BALANCE
∑ button while the digital camcorder is in
Standby mode. The WHITE BALANCE ∑
button does not function during recording.
•If you are adjusting the aperture (iris) and
shutter speed manually, then when you move
from indoors to outdoors or vice-versa, set
AUTO LOCK to ON and then set it to OFF
again.
•After you move from indoors to outdoors or
vice-versa, or detach the battery to replace it,
while shooting in automatic white balance
mode, point the digital camcorder at a white
subject for about 10 seconds before you start
recording.
Notas sobre el indicador ∑ del visor
• Significado del indicador:
Parpadeo lento: el equilibrio del blanco no está
ajustado.
Parpadeo rápido: el equilibrio del blanco está
ajustándose (después de haber presionado
WHITE BALANCE ∑).
Visualización permanente: el equilibro del
blanco ha sido ajustado
• Si el indicador ∑ continúa parpadeando
después de haber presionado WHITE
BALANCE ∑, videofilme en el modo de
equilibrio automático del blanco. Ponga AUTO
LOCK en ON y deslice AUTO/MANUAL,
situado debajo del mando WHT BAL, hasta
AUTO.
Notas sobre el equilibrio del blanco
• Cuando videofilme con iluminación de estudio
o para vídeo, utilice el modo e (interiores).
• Cuando videofilme con iluminación
fluorescente, utilice el modo de equilibrio
automático del blanco.
Videofilmación cuando cambien las
condiciones de iluminación
• Después de haber cambiado las condiciones de
iluminación, reajuste el equilibrio del blanco
utilizando la tecla WHITE BALANCE ∑
mientas la videocámara digital esté en el modo
de espera. La tecla WHITE BALANCE ∑ no
funcionará durante la videofilmación.
• Si está ajustando la apertura (iris) y la velocidad
de obturación manualmente, y se traslada de
interiores a exteriores, o viceversa, ponga
AUTO LOCK en ON y después devuélvalo a
OFF.
• Después de haberse trasladado de interiores a
exteriores, o viceversa, o de haber extraído y
vuelto a instalar la batería, cuando videofilme
en el modo de equilibrio automático del blanco,
apunte con la videocámara digital hacia un
motivo blanco durante unos 10 segundos antes
de iniciar la videofilmación.
