touch the test leads to the capacitor to be tested,

read the capacitance value in the display,

having done the measurement disconnect the test leads from
the meter.
5.7 Frequency or % duty cycle measure-
ments
Do not realise measurements if the battery compartment is
open.
In order to realise frequency or % duty cycle measurement it is
necessary to realise the following actions:

place the rotational selector in the position V ,

connect the red test lead to sockets V/Ω/CAP/TEMP and the
black one to sockets COM,

select Hz or % duty with the Hz/% button,

touch the test probe tips to the circuit under test,

read the frequency on the display,

having done the measurement disconnect the test leads from
the meter.
5.8

Temperature measurements

Do not realise measurements if the battery compartment is
open.
To avoid electric shock, disconnect both test probes from
any source of voltage before making a temperature meas-
urement.
