ceeding in certain situations which may occur during operation of
the meter.

Replacement of the batteries

The CMP-400 meter is supplied by means of one 9V battery. It
is recommended to use alkaline battery.
When making measurements with a battery's mnemonic on,
one must take into account additional indefinite measure-
ment uncertainty or unstable working of the meter.
REASON
Low batteries.
Lack of acclimati-
sation.
The test lead is
broken or torn off
the terminal.

SOLUTION
Replace the batter-
ies. If the situation
does not change
send the meter for
repair.
Do not perform
measurements until
the meter has
reached the tem-
perature of the en-
vironment (approx-
imately 30
minutes).
Replace the test
lead.
