ALARMS
"BATTERY Mode" (Beep every 5 seconds)
In "BATTERY mode ", the YELLOW LED comes on and the UPS sounds an audio alarm. This stops when
the UPS starts operating in NORMAL LINE mode again.
"BATTERY LOW" (Beep every second)
In "BATTERY mode", when the battery starts getting low, the UPS will sound a quick beep until it stops due
to battery failure or until NORMAL Line mode is restored.
"OVERLOAD" (Fast or continuous beep that cannot be deactivated)
When an overload condition occurs on the UPS (connected loads exceed the maximum nominal capacity), a
continuous beep will sound. Disconnect any non-essential devices to reduce the load.
SILENCE (via software) (only for 40U Plus –60U Plus – 80U Plus models)
Use the "enable/disable buzzer" command (see the software guide) to silence the UPS in battery mode. The
audio alarm will be automatically restored at each change of operating mode (e.g. when the UPS returns to
NORMAL LINE mode).
